EASY, MAKE AHEAD CRAB MEAT APPETIZERS
Have you ever had unexpected guests and wish you had something besides
cheese and crackers to serve them? Here is a great hot appetizer that you can
make
ahead and keep in your freezer or emergencies -- or when you simply want to
indulge yourself.
You'll need:
6 English Muffins - separated
1 jar Old English Cheese Spread
1 stick butter or margarine (1/2 cup) - softened
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. seasoning salt
1 T. Mayonnaise
1 small can crab meat - drained
Mix cheese spread, butter, garlic powder, seasoning salt and mayonnaise in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add crab meat and stir until it is mixed in. |

Pop the tray into the freezer and leave it until the mixture hardens. |
|

When you need them, remove as many as you need from the bag, place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet or a cookie sheet lined with an Exopat mat and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. ![]() (I love the Exopat mat because the cheese won't stick and cleanup is a snap! |
There you go, an elegant, easy appetizer that is sure to
impress your family and friends! |
Serve your crab meat appetizers with a glass of white wine or
champagne. |
